About Me

When I was about five years old, I was diagnosed with eczema. Ever since then, I've been prescribed one topical steroid or another. I'm twenty-five now and my eczema (which was supposed to magically go away when I got older) is worse than ever. And the prescriptions have gotten stronger and stronger -- but don't seem to work as well.

One day, I googled makeup for eczema and someone on a random message board, someone mentioned "Red Skin Syndrome." I had never heard of that, so I did another search and up turned this site and this one. Both described "red skin syndrome" and something called "topical steroid addiction."

And I realized...that's me!

So I'm stopping with the steroids. They're obviously not working and, not only are they not working...they're making me worse!
